I use this drive a lot with both mac and pc. It has never let me down. It has lasted two years now and is still in perfect condition. Small, handy and very low low noise. At this price I'd say well moneys' worth. 1TB has been more than enough space for my projects, including sound engineering, music and video productions.

Works great with older MacBook Pro, High Sierra. You have to have the patience to format it correctly at first, but after that it works like a charm. Indispensable for backups & DAWs.

Good for back ups

Cost effective TB of storage for backups.
Real compact, could fit in your pocket so real good to bring to sessions where you need to bring stems or other dumps of audio.

I have three Western Digital hard drives for all my work and backups. One of them I have for 6 years now, and it's been moved around a lot. I've never had a problem.
