Sooo good - had to buy another pair!
Erky32 26.12.2018
Having used them for a year, they developed a bit of a glich, so I reported it to T, who said return them & we'll check them out (being over 12months old & well used). I returned them, but at the same time I ordered a new pair because these wonderful things had become a way of life, - no cables, no belt pack - just plug & play, swap guitars & amps on the run. Thomann were brilliant and replaced the original defect ones with a new pair. Having two pairs is a perfect world!! - total redundancy & convenience! My old other radios have been relegated to headset duties now! ...but I look forward next to hearing that Xvive have developed a similar pod type head mic - I would buy one immediately!! I've knocked one star off reliability because of recurring probs with 1st pair, dont if it was design fault or manufacture but it didnt stop me from buying a second set!

One less cable
Dave Wright 02.01.2020
Purchased this item to replace a trailing cable to the amp.
Use it when 'jamming' to stop people walking and tripping over
the lead.
Mono output from a Nord Stage. Works well.
Would be interesting to know if another unit on a different signal
could make up the stereo from keyboards ??

I use it live and trust it
Press K 02.06.2023
I've used for some months now, in different live situations, at the studio, at home. I wouldn't say it "steals sound". It instantly "untied" me and I am not going back (unless recording).

You can definitely get dropoffs if there are obstacles between you and the receiver — I would always keep it in sight and I wouldn't push beyond 15 meters with it.

Channel 1, which is supposedly the most stable, gives me minor dropoffs from time to time. I guess it's the specifics of my local Wi-Fi. Channels 2-4 are more reliable for me.

The design is perfect to fit in pretty much any jack — I have a King V, PRS, Ibanez, and use it with all of them.

I keep a powerbank in my guitar bag and always hook this up to charge before a show. Battery life has not been a problem so far. However, I am dreadful at the moment when the batteries will inevitably degrade. Maybe consider if you can get a unit with easily replaceable battery.

Pros:
- red, matching my Focusrite
- my cat is not destroying cables anymore
- stable signal (though I am using this pair within distance of 3m)
- no discrepancies on the signal (will order another pair and will update a review, also not tried yet together with XVive U3 Mic)

Cons:
- none so far (using it less than a month)

Let's see how long on/off switches will last
