Bought this for my Yamaha Dtx Multi 12. It is essential for the pad as snare stands are messy and hard to use. it came with the bundle from Thomann and the ball joint on it allows for exact positioning. I can imagine this tom holder is ideal for a lot of purposes for yamaha gear.
It also comes with a height lock so you can insert it to the the clamp or stand and its accurately places it to your preferences
All in all a good solid tom holder

Yamaha quality, do I need to say more?
Nizaril 14.11.2020
Yamaha simply makes awesome quality. Are they the slickest looking or most modern? No. Do they get the job done well? Definitely! I use it for multiple things, including a side snare and DTX multipad.

It does it's job perfectly.
Does not curve down with time - i mean in the ball joint - at least for my 13” x 11” Tom
as it is a tom mount not much else to say
i my opinion - good.

Yamaha single tom holder

Rock solid piece of kit.
imho Yamaha hardware is the best. Some will do Pearl others Tama, Gibraltor etc etc. My experience is that Yamaha stuff will let you get the drum where you want it not where the stand/bracket/holder lets you put it.
Bloomin' cheap for the quality/reliability.

What can I say? Yamaha makes the best damn gear on the planet. I dont know any other drum brand that does it as robust, practical and easy to use stuff.
