Favourite E-Drums by far!

After trying out a lot of Yamaha, Roland, and Alesis models, the DTX6K2-X was a clear winner in its price range!

It was easy enough to set up (took a bit longer than an hour), and one can really notice the quality difference between the DTX6 series and the DTX4 series (last owned set).

If I could go back in time I would probably pay the extra 200 euros to get the DTX6K3-X instead, after seeing how the snare drum is built. Beautiful piece, great rebound.

I only have a thin drum mat from Drum N Base underneath the set, and I live in a Berlin apartment in Wilmersdorf. I play Mon to Sat until 10 pm and so far no complaints from any neighbours, no police knocking on my door!

The bass module is a huge improvement. Love how it feels.
Amazing rack! Very stable, and the Snare holder is outstandingly adjustable.

DTX-Pro Trigger Module is a beast! Even though I'm not using all the different ambience and compression knobs all that much, it offers all the inputs and outputs one needs to play, record, and expand the set.

One issue that I had with my trigger module: USB recording doesn't always work. The module recognizes my USB stick, starts recording, then after I'm finished recording it sometimes just won't save. The fault could be in my USB stick itself... I tried another 128gb stick to troubleshoot, the module did not recognize that one at all. However no big issue for me since I find it much easier to record directly with the USB-cable connection to my computer and using Cubase.

Overall amazing kit, worth the money.
