Ich habe mir die RSP20X vor knapp 2 Monaten gekauft. Sie ist jetzt Teil einer Sammlung, die ich möglichst breit aufstellen wollte. Der Sound der Revstar ist sehr vielfältig durch die Anhebungsmölglichkeiten der Mitten und liegt so irgendwo zwischen einer Les Paul und Strat. Die kurze Mensur lässt sich prima auch mit 10ner oder sogar 11er Saiten super spielen. Bendings sind da kein Problem. Der 5 Wege Toggle dreht in den Zwischenstellungen die Phasen der 2 Humbucker um,. Dadurch kommt es nochmal zu einer kleinen Soundvariation. Die Gitarre ist kein leichtes Instrument, liegt aber total ausgewogen am Gurt und ist immer noch leichter als eine Les Paul. Auch wenns komisch klingt, die Revstar hat auch einen kleinen touch von einer akustischen Klampfe. Das Klangbild ist sehr klar, kann aber auch mit der Mittenanhebung richtig rotzen. Rein optisch ist sie eine Augenweide und klanglich insgesamt eine super Bereicherung mit einem eigenwilligen Sound.
