Quite brittle, but great sounding!

One word: trashy!
It's a great sounding cymbal with just the right amount of trash to it. It sounds great as a short-decay splash and also can be easily used on a stack with other cymbals. The only problem I have with it, is that it is very thin (which I understand why) and it broke after a while of extensive use. But since it is a 'trash' cymbal if it's slightly cracked it doesn't effect the sound too much and can even add to the trashy sound. Overall, if that's the sound you're going for, then by all means buy it as it is a well made, good sounding effects cymbal!

Although the Trashformer looks & sounds quite unique, it is built in a way which, I feel, doesn't dissipate energy like other cymbals, and is quite fragile.
After a week's use it is covered in dents, and it's very harsh attack can be quite abrupt in a mix.

It is a fun little trinket, and great fun to jam behind the kit with, but not easily applicable within a musical context.

This unique cymbal can stack really well, with splashes, chinas, etc. If you plan to stack it with something, then this is the right one

Love this little dude. Sounds and looks really cool. Nice bright sound, with short decay. Perfect mix of splash and stack.
