Great value unit for bass!
Bassface1 30.08.2022
I got this as I needed bass effects and DI box for gigs. I didn’t want to go the individual pedal route as it was too much hassle for me. Firstly the gold- unit was well priced, well constructed from good quality plastic with a nice carbon style finish, is light and has a good range of effects. The DI function is fantastic and some of the pre-sets are awesome. Now, the only big negative (besides not including the Bluetooth adapter so you can use in a phone/iPad etc.)for me is that I find this unit EXTREMELY difficult to program and understand. The fact the manual must be accessed via internet doesn’t help either, and the quick start guide was not really helpful. I’m a novice when it comes to effects boards and processing but this is a huge issue. Lots of homework involved. I’m sure though, once I get the hang of how it works, it’ll be superb. It would have been a 5 rating if it was easier and more intuitive to program your own patches. Still though, a great unit at a great price and 4/5 stars is not bad!!

Great!
GrooveMaker 24.08.2024
They call this a 'budget' multi, but in truth, it's just plain great for the price.
Amps/cabs are varied and all are usable depending on taste and style and adding more IR's is easy enough.
Every effect has a blend, so no losing any low end when you don't want it to. Plenty of preset slots.
The looper is useful and has enough varied rhythms to keep you improvising for a while. Even more useful is that you can add your own (drum)tracks onto an SD card and play along with it. Perfect for preparing for band rehearsals.

There are a few minor cons you may want to consider:
- The foot switches are relatively noisy. All newer zoom product seems to suffer from this. My MS-60B+ has the same type of switch and is just as loud. It not loud enough for the audience to hear, but you will.
- The UI takes some getting used to. Using the 'edit all' is really the only one you need when you're building your patch. Ignore the rest. The free PC software makes up for a lot of minor annoyances within the UI of the device itself. Creating sounds is much easier this way. Editing is easy enough on both. Just click/tap the effect and change. Preset ordering using the PC software is super easy, but less so on the device itself.
- Changing modes between board, patch and rhythm mode can be a bit of a tapdance. Personally, I almost exclusively work in patch mode for my cover band, but change to board mode when playing my own music. Changing modes in between songs, while possible, is not something I'd recommend unless you really have to.

TL;DR:
Great device if you can get past a few minor UI inconveniences.
