This ride is really heavy and thick - its hard to take it off the stand with one hand. The stick deffinition is amazing with this cymbal. It also looks great with the brilliant finish. Really suitable for metal music.
Now onto the downsides - this ride has a really promiment overtone problem due to its thickness (I have even seen someone on Youtube commenting over that). Especially when you are playing fast on it. The bell is also slightly weird - the diameter is good, but the bell sitts quite low. Im short - the bell looks something not of a ride cymbal. It sound good though (not amazing). I have slapped a moon gel on it to control the overtones - everything seems fine now, stick deffinition is even more clear now, although I have lost some of the volume (not so much however).
I really like it, however I would also consider other options, for example the F5 series (i believe it also has a heavy version ride now). Would suite anyone who is playing heavier music.
