Bought this for guitar after seeing some YouTube demos. It kind of does exactly what I expected it to do but I'm a bit disappointed in how much treble it seems to cut even with the treble at max. Good if you're looking for that boards of Canada sound but not sure if it's good for much else due to how muddy it sounds when in vibrato mode. Very solidly made and the chorus and compression are both decent but I just don't love it as much as I expected to for the price. I'll find a good use for it - think it would work very well with keyboards - just a bit underwhelmed.

Too muddy??

Good lofi pedal. Great vintage boards of canada analog equipment sound
for guitar and synths. Takes out a bit too much high end for my liking, always find myself EQ'ing the highs back in. Can be muddy and make quite a bit of noise. Built like a tank.

Overall the build quality is superb, and the pedal works nicely both with guitar and synths. My only minor gripe is that the sounds tend to get a bit muddy – which is typical for broken cassette / tape emulators but it feels more obvious with lo fi junky vexter.
