9.solutions Phone Grip

I have had this for quite some time and is a great little clamp, although on the price is quite high.

On a downside when I mount my iPhone into the device lots of the adjustments are in the way, alongside the fact when mounted on a stand the iPhone actually activates recording via the body of the holder?!

This is a right pain in the bum, especially when the screen is facing the holder side of the clamp, sometimes this is how you need to mount it as you might need to see your shot before recording, there is a slight workaround, by turning the phone over to face the outside, however, it is then quite more difficult to see where the camera itself (the lendz) get obscured unless you place the camera right in the middle of the clamp, However then once you tighten the clamp It starts to record again due to the clamp pressing on the side buttons of your phone, (You can start recording with the volume buttons, hence the clamp starts recording when clamped)

The clamping and adjustments are great, however a little cumbersome when changing devices that are smaller or bigger, You have to then adjust everything again to get the phone to clamp.

Nice idea, good quality build, Not so quick and handy to use IMO
So overall, not handy for quick let's shoot this!!

I found the Rockwell line of clamps to be just as good in quality and actually more handy to use with mobile phones due to their smaller size, But no compromise on quality at all.

I use the rockwell on most outdoor shoots, for portability and ease of clamping the phone as a whole.

Enfin un support pro , en alu et inox évidement plus pesant (96 grammes sur un pèse lettres) que du plastique mais la rigidité est là . Sur un pied de micro on peu enfin avoir accès a l"écran tactile sans vibration .Et sur un trépied vidéo ou photo monté sur une tête fluide les photos ou séquence filmées sont possibles et sans vibrations dues au touché ( Iphone 6+s) peu être mis :aplat sur vis photo (1/4) ou pied de micro (3/8) , en vertical dans deux sens mais la fixation en 1/4 .Écartement maxi passage 84,56mm serrage possible à partir de 83,5mm (pour info iphone6+s largeur avec coque plastique 80,23mm)
Pour ma part filetage en 3/8 dessus et dessous sont manquant cela évitait un intermédiaire adaptateur 3/8-1/4 et aurait alléger de quelques grammes le support mais au vu du poids du smart phone le filetage en 1/4 est suffisant .
1/4 de pouce = 6,35mm généralement photo
3/8 de pouce= 9,525 mm pied de micro

Das 9.solutions Phone Grip ist nun meine dritte Halterung für ein Smartphone, um es am Stativ zu befestigen. Meine vorherigen Halterungen waren überwiegend aus Plastik und konnten dem fast täglichen Gebrauch nicht standhalten. Der 9.solutions Phone Grip ist aus Metall gefertigt und deutlich stabiler als meine vorherigen Halterungen.

Ich verwende die Halterung um mein Smartphone am Stativ zu befestigen. Die Halterung selbst verwende ich mit einem Google Pixel XL und einem iPhone 8. Beide Smartphones lassen sich ohne Probleme in der Halterung befestigen.
Die Halterung kann zudem eingestellt werden, um auch schmalere Smartphones oder breitere Smartphones aufzunehmen.

Für meine Einsatzzwecke gibt es keinen Nachteil. Vermutlich muss ich aufgrund der stabilen Verarbeitung keine neue Halterung mehr kaufen.
