This pad is a little overpriced for what you get.
First of all, this still gives a practice pad feeling, not a marching snare drum. The sound mimics a marching snare drum but it’s only loud and not helpful at all (for me). The rims are not bad.
The dot in the middle comes off very fast and starts to move around (in my case, after like a week).
My feeling is that this product is a failed copy of the snare drum pads made by Xymox Percussion.

Pad mit realistischem Rebound

Für das Spielgefühl, das man auf normalem Fell auf einer Trommel hat (kl. Trommel/Snare), kommt mir momentan fast kein anderes Pad in den Sinn.
Es gibt deshalb nicht 5 Sterne, da es nicht stimmbar ist. Die Schrauben, die wie Stimmschrauben angeordnet sind, halten den Ring mit dem restlichen Pad zusammen. Das Design ist da wohl wichtiger gewesen - Rimshots kann man sich mit Fantasie quasi nur "hinhören".
Schade, dass der Schritt nicht mehr gemacht wurde, denn die Idee mit dem "Teppich" Imitat auf der Rückseite ist nett.
Für das was es dann letztendlich ist, ist es sehr gut verarbeitet.

This is the nicest pad i currently own. It sounds crisp, and you can actually hear if your playing on time. It has a clear center dot to make the laminate last longer, but i put a kevlar falam slam on it just to be sure. Big plus for the metal hoop, it probably will not break.
The thing that lacks is the adjustable snare mechanism. In the original design you can tighten the snares, or mute them. This model doesn't do either. This is a licensed product that shouldn't cost as much as the original. And the lack of snare adjustment should lower the cost even more.
But this is still alright choice if the original design is out of reach.
