AKG HSC 271 Studio Set

Very comfortable headset. My favorite features are:
1. Detachable spiral cable. As for me - this cable is great - sturdy (I have had another headset for over two years with a similar cable type - AKG K-712 Pro - no problems for everyday use for 4+ hours in a row so far). Easy to organize (spiral cables don't need to be untangled, while straight cables do). Finally, the length is just about right.
2. Velour cushions. There are two pairs of cushions in the box - the default ones (soft man-made leather) on the headset, and velour ones as a spare pair. Velour cushions are awesome! Having them is a great life-saver as the headset sits nice and soft on the head and it doesn't feel uncomfortable wearing the headset for a long time.

One thing, however, that makes the overall impression a little bit fuzzy is the headband. It's made of some sort of PVA material or something, and it does look a little bit strange (cheap? weak?) for a headset for everyday use, which costs almost €300. The headband of my AKG K-712 Pro would be a better choice in this particular case.

Bought these to use for monitoring and talkback on an X32. The sound quality and isolation is very good and they feel like they will last a long time. The cable is detachable with a micro XLR connector on the cans which is very handy when packing them away as it stops the cable getting all tangled around the headband. There’s also a novel feature in that the headphones mute themselves when you take them off which is quite neat. Condenser mic is pretty good too but my only criticism is that the XLR plug for the mic is quite big and heavy - most likely due to the 48v preamp being housed in there so the dynamic model should have a smaller plug.

Ich habe mir das Headset hauptsächlich zum Chatten und Streamen auf Twitch gekauft, da ich nichts von Gaming-Headsets halte und eine gute Mikrofonqualität haben wollte.

Ich habe mir einige angeschaut und mich dann letztendlich spontan für das AKG entschieden.
Hauptsächlich auch deswegen, da man die Ohrpolster wechseln kann (Ich hasse die Kuststoff/-leder Dinger einfach) und da man das Kabel einfach abnehmen und wechseln kann, falls es mal kaputt gehen sollte o.ä.
Ich habe es an einem Mackie Big Knob angeschlossen, welches als Soundkarte verwendet wird.
Das Headset auch auch zwei praktische Funktionen: Ab einem bestimmenten Klappwinkel des Mikrofons (Welches übrigens in beide richtungen gedreht werden kann, sodass man das Headset auch andersherum tragen könnte, wie Gronkh z.B., dessen Kopfhörerversterker rechts steht) schaltet es selbstständig auf stumm. D.h., wenn ich z.B. im Chat auf Toilette gehe, klappe ich nur das Mikro hoch, was ich sowieso mache und störe niemanden.
Die andere wäre, dass das Headset erkennt, wenn man es aufsetzt. Also wird es automatisch abgeschaltet, wenn man es absetzt.
Das funktioniert über das Kopfband, auf dem der AKG Schriftzug ist. An diesem sind dünner bänder, welche einen Sensor auslösen, sobalt man daran zieht. Setzt man also das Headset auf und die Sensoren werden gezogen, entmutet sich das Headset und man kann zuhören.

Der Klang der Ohrmuscheln ist sehr ausgewogen und auch nicht zu basslastig. Was mir sehr gut gefällt. So kann ich es auch nutzen, um beim Mixen meines Drumset's gegen meine Adam-Audio Monitore gegenzuhören.
Der Klang den Mikros ist auch nicht zu vernachlässigen. Ich habe einige Testaufnahmen gemacht, welche sehr gut klangen.

Eine Sache stört mich aber ein wenig. Das Kabel hat zwar eine sehr gute Länge, aber es ist doch recht schwer. Es zieht mich immer etwas nach links. Ich muss es dann immer etwas an meiner Armlehne befestigen. )Da könnte ich mir ja mal eine Halterung im 3D-Drucker machen.)

Alles in allem bin ich mit dem Headset mehr als zufrieden. Ich hatte zwar um die Weihnachtszeit 2019 mal einen Ausfall des Sensors, wodurch die linke Ohrmuschel gemutet blieb, aber das hat das Thomann-Team wieder 'hingebogen'
Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Este auricular con micrófono cubre ampliamente las orejas, para aislar mejor del ruido exterior. El sonido del micrófono es de calidad, aunque puede requerir ecualización para determinadas voces. En conclusión, hace su trabajo con solvencia. La atención al cliente, también de calidad. El envío, más lento de lo esperado. Es posible que debido a las circunstancias especiales del Covid19.
