An update. I still like the case but after a couple of weeks the hygrometer keeps falling out onto my violin despite pushing it back onto the sticky white strip. I have removed it for now as it will damage my varnish. This lightweight case is well designed. There is ample room for a shoulder rest under the neck of the instrument where a velvet layer creates a protective cover. The pocket on the back holds music and has pockets where you can store strings etc. This sits comfortably against your back if using the rucksack straps. The interior has a plush lining with a blanket attached so it never gets misplaced. There is room for two bows. The upper bow needs to be stored upside down in order to fit. The case has subtle reflective piping which is a good safety features. I would have liked a fastener for quick closure to be 100% happy instead of having to use only the zips but this is a minor detail. There is a section inside where you can fit the supplied humidifier blocks for which a special water is supplied. I’m really happy with this case which I bought a few weeks ago. As a professional violinist I have owned Gordge, Gewa and Bam cases which have been good too but this one ticks lots of good boxes for me: lightweight, space inside music pocket, balance. I recommend it.
