It will NOT make you sound like Ibrahim, but you will get closer. Really nice, deep core sound. I will say that the rim is more like a 3 rim than 1 1/2.

Der Rand ist eher Breit und fühlt sich etwas enger als ein Bach 1 1/2C an. Die Innenkante spürt man gut und insgesamt finde ich den Rand für meinen Geschmack sehr angenehm. In der Mittellage sehr gut zu spielen, zentriert, Töne rasten gut ein. In der höheren Lage bleibt bei mir das Bach vergleichsweise viel offener im Klang, das Maalouf wird da schnell etwas dünn. Die Bohrung ist auch relativ eng.
Meine Erwartung an das Mundstück war, dass es mich dabei unterstützt die Luftgeräusche im Ton zu erzeugen, das gelang mir nicht wirklich besser als auf anderen Mundstücken. Im gesamten bestimmt ein tolles Mundstück mit seinen Eigenheiten.
