The Bach 5G is a very nice mouthpiece for both trombone and euphonium if one is playing in a wind band or a symphonic orchestra. The dimensions of the mouthpiece allow a good sound over a wide range: be it high or low notes, I can comfortably play them with this piece. Not the best choice if you want a really bright crisp sound for a solo, perhaps, but the darker, deeper, broad sound of the 5G is great for the orchestral player.

Diese Bewertung wurde aus Sicht eines Posaune spielenden Tubisten verfasst, und muss vor diesem Hintergrund betrachtet werden.
Ansprache: Das Mundstück fühlt sich vom ersten Ton an gut an. Es spricht in allen Registern leicht an. Auch Pedaltöne rasten leicht ein und lassen sich (wie alle Register) sauber intonieren.
Sound: Die Form des Mundstücks erzeugt wenig Widerstand und erlaubt einen grossen Luftdurchfluss, was mir als Tubist natürlich entgegen kommt. Entsprechend ist der Klang voll, kräftig und eher dunkel und warm. Im tiefen Register lassen sich meiner Bach Stradivarius Tenorposaune bassposaunenähnliche Klänge entlocken.
Verarbeitung: Das Mundstück ist in gewohnt tadelloser Bach Qualität hergestellt.
Fazit: Das Bach 5G entspricht meinen Bedürftnissen perfekt. Auch Posaunisten mit anderem (nicht Tuba-geprägtem) Hintergrund dürften ihre Freude an den Spiel- und Klangeigenschaften des Mundstücks haben.

Un mustiuc de calitate

Firma Vincent Bach nu dezamageste niciodata . Cum ma asteptam ,un mustiuc de foarte inalta calitate,lucrat si finisat ireprosabil . Totusi un mustiuc neaccesibil pentru incepatori,necesita o cunoastere avansata a registrului acut si o rezistenta marita,fiind un mustiuc dedicat instrumentistilor avansati. Acest model , 5G este modelul standard pentru instrumentisti din orchestra simfonica.Recomand acest mustiuc tuturor care vor sa incerce o marime mai mare , important e ca instrumentistul sa fie "compatibil" cu mustiucul . Sunetul cu acest mustiuc este special,cald,rotund si plin de culoare dar in acelasi timp puternic si riguros.Registrul grav-mediu este cuprins de forta , in schimb cel acut are o intonatie foarte clara si pura . Acest mustiuc are o claritate exceptionala in sunet . Intonatia cu acest mustiuc este fantastica . In piano mustiucul suna extrem de dulce,in forte suna brutal dar in aceias timp maiestuos , exact cum se cere.Un mustiuc de obicei utilizat in cadrul instrumentelor cu deschidere mare , simfonice . Special pentru muzica clasica dar poate fii utilizat si in jazz sau genuri asemanatoare.Trecerea de la un mustiuc mic la un 5g este destul de dificila.
