A really good parlor guitar
solarsea 07.11.2022
This is a really good parlor guitar - material, fit, finish and sound are all excellent. Size-wise it's a tad bit smaller than a 4/4 classical so if you have a 4/4 bag it will fit in.

Note that you will most likely need to set it up. Many players use the truss rod for action adjustment - this is wrong! The truss rod should only be used for neck relief! Mine came with a proper neck relief (measured with a capo at the first fret, strings pressed at the 12th and using a feeler gauge at the sixth fret) but it had really high nut and saddle actions. I had to dislodge the nut (luckily it wasn't glued too hard) and file both the nut as well as the nut slot in the neck to properly bring it down, angle it and adjust the string height at the nut end. The saddle was high as well and need a solid filing.

After setup it plays great and I'll be keeping this one for a very long while :)

Baton Rouge X11S/P-CHB Parlor - Small guitar with a surprisingly loud and non-boxy tone!!!
Wyman 19.06.2023
Was looking for a small guitar to carry to my worship gigs and found this handsome guitar. Did not know what to expect from reading reviews and watching Youtube videos as they were limited for this guitar. Received the guitar today and was pleasantly surprised and very happy with the quality, finish, and tone of the guitar. Playability is also very good. It is indeed very well built and the Thomann team provided excellent service for my purchase.

Strongly recommend this guitar if you are looking for a small, light, and compact guitar with an impressive color and tone that will indeed impress.

I was looking for a small guitar with a short scale and good sound. This is what I needed. The guitar sounds clear and loud enough. Very good sustain. A rebuild was needed. Adjusted the deflection of the neck to 0,2 mm. The 6; 2 and 1 strings were lowered slightly at the top nut. I sharpened the bottom nut so that at the 12th fret the height of the strings was: 6th string - 2 mm, 1st string -1.7 mm. It has become easy and convenient to play, the sound is unique, similar to the sound of a classical guitar, but brighter and louder. Very satisfied. I recommend for purchase.

Stunning little guitar
Jsydney 14.08.2023
Love this guitar - little bit bigger than a parlour guitar perhaps, but packs one hell of a punch. Really gorgeous, and I love the chunky neck and flat radius on the board. My only wish is that it had a cutaway so that you could.play above the 12th fret comfortably.
