Well done! easy to use out of the box

I was not expecting much from Behringer…. in the pas I was very disappointed with their products but since their eurorack modules got good reviews here and there, I decided to go ahead and try it. I must say that i am very happy with all the modules in the 100 systems (missing only 2 for now) they are well built. all the modules have the same built quality. the sliders, pots and leds are very good. offers enough resistance and easily fine tuned. Of course some times it might be difficult to handle if you have big fingers but the eurorack format is what it is. The designs respects the Roland system 100 at a fraction of the price back then. I believe I will expend my rack with the othe modules soon. many hours of music and fun ahead!

Nice basic sequencing
1 BPM 03.07.2021
I nickname this one the "poor man's dark time". Basically the same 8 steps two lanes either parallel or linear, two cv/gate out, a clock in, and in addition a switch to choose between repeat and single play. What's missing is selecting octave, voltage, and cv-in for ext controlled transpose. But then of course the price tag would be doubled. The decoders do not freewheel at all, so they stay exactly put as the first time set. Nice the knobs for pulse width, tempo and glide. For basic sequencing this is a very easy to use littel beast.

Decent little sequencer for modulation. Knobs are too small for pitch.
Mastasheo 14.03.2024
I got this to round out my system 100 rig. It performs everything it needs to well enough and has a good round feature set. Love the gate out. However Like Tim Shoebridge points out the knobs are incredibly small and makes it practically impossible to use this for any kind of pitch, Yes even if you like "microtonal". I use it mainly for modulation and its work fine there. However I wouldn't buy this again if it broken or lost but instead I would get the system 55 960 sequencer. I already have one and the interface is much friendlier and more versatile. Ive contemplated selling it but the resale value of these behringer modules is so low that id rather keep if for some beater system or give it away to someone just starting out.

Behringer 182

As all of the Behringer System 100 modules, this one is no exception.
Build quality is great, ease of use is good and overall performance is excellent. I have all of the system 100 modules in my setup and all have been well built. Price point is good, especially from Thomann.
If you are looking at modular (and this is my first time with modular) I could recommend these modules. I know there are so many available selections out there and it is hard to chose but from a price point, these are a good value to start with.
Enjoy!
