Nothing better for the money
Vangelo 05.03.2019
Used in Home HiFi set up to power sub woofer, so I cannot comment regarding Live PA use or full range. This replaces a pair of NU3000DSP's which have run trouble-free for the last 5 years. The fans need to be changed for the home environment, but plenty of info on how to do this online.
The NX range represents a cosmetic improvement over the NU's and now includes impedance stabilisation which I gather only affects upper frequencies. Other than that, the electronics are identical.
For sub use this unit has plenty of power driving a pair of relatively inefficient UM18's in open baffle configuration. They have never sounded better, and will extend sub-sonically with appropriate material.
The sound of the bass is well controlled, textured, fast and detailed, possibly helped by the OB.
Setting up couldn't be easier with the Behringer Remote software. Only wish it was compatible with the old NU series as I had to transfer my programs over by hand. The only complaint I have!
The elitists will talk badly about Behringer, but I only have praise.

P
Affordable amazing power in a stylish package
PeterKeuning 22.04.2019
Edit 9-2023: All 4 of my NX6000D amps have died, one after another. None of them start up anymore, which makes it look like a fairly simple component somewhere in the power supply has died. Unfortunately, absolutely no information is to be found about this issue so fixing it yourself is impossible without a master's degree in electronics. I've brought 2 of them to a couple of repair shops, but nobody will even touch these amps.

Too bad, as they legit sounded great, but the extremely poor build quality makes them essentially useless.

This amp is unbelievable. I have two of these to power my large W-bin Subs and they perform with ease! The build in DSP is powerful, quick to set up using a PC and cable and sound as good as the DBX Driverack I was using prior to these amps.

The light weight means more power from a single rack as the racks just because easier to carry. Currently I'm getting about 18 kW from a rack that weights only 25 kg which is amazing in it's own right. The D-class amps however require a clean (and plentyful!) airflow to cool, so do NOT obstruct airflow to these units in any way. If you are going to close the rear of the rack with fancy ventilation rackplates, it's pretty much mandatory to also install one or more cooling fans to prevent overheating equipment. This is however required for all D-class amps (they are all heat sensitive) and not so much this particular model.

The styling of this amp is something Behringer hasn't done before. In most Behringer product (like it's predecessor iNuke 6000) you can clearly see the typical Behringer design features, but not in this one! They have clearly put some thought in creating this amp.

It'd say the one really noticable con of these amps is the lack of XLR through output to daisy-chain these amps (which would be very useful considering the built-in DSP). Nothing a rack-mixer won't fix though!

All in all a very nice amp for an amazing price. Highly recommended!

Great amp - currently has an issue though
Steph-loves-everyone 17.11.2019
So the good - its a great amp, lots of thump. Never used the on board screen for selecting modes as its a bit small, always plug in my tablet for the DSP features - all good. Light amp, better efficiency that my other 40kg amps.
And the other side - the fans are reasonably loud. Mine has had to be returned (luckily I had ordered another before it broke as I loved the amp and had more subs to power, so I wasn't without an amp), not sure what may have gone wrong, the load was only flickering the first signal light, so not power related, but the returns process has been great, and free.
A pernickety point, my gain controls are not equal in their notches. 6 notches on one side may equate to 6.5 on the other - minor point, and nothing to worry about.
The second NX-6000D I got is running flawlessly.
The NX6000D suited my sub configuration, if you are running large PA low/high speakers, or 4 lowish power 2 ohm total subs, you may want to consider the NX4-6000, 4 channels, but I don't think they do it with a DSP.
