Behringer SF300 Super Fuzz

I bought some Behringer pedals as they are cheap and so it is easy to find out if the effect is what you're looking for. By now I changed most of my effects for some higher quality brand when on stage or in the studio.
I found this Fuzz to be too rough for my liking. Specially as there are others for just a few more euro's available which will give better perfomance and a better quality sound.
The fuzz gives a disturbing buzz when the Level is to high up.
Nevertheless, this fx is good for experimenting with the effect using a guitar or keyboard. Didn't find much purpose for bass (I use EMG active pickups).
All in all a very inexpensive fx pedal for practise and a bit of fun, but for serious use I will look for a higher quality. Although it means there will be way more euro's to spent.

pro cheap, usefull if not asking to much on sound quality
con hard buzz when the level is up over 50%, rough in its use, so if you need subtle sounding fx just spent more.

I find Behringer is a very fine brand to get things known before spending much more on the 'real thing' for stage use or for recording.
