K
Beyer continued support for their products sets them apart.
Kyteman 04.04.2020
It is great to be able to get parts for the Beyer line of studio headphones and none more than the DT100 and DT250. A rare thing these days when most brands work on the dubious principle of built in obsolescence to make maximum profit at the expense of the customer and the environment.

I have been servicing a pair of DT250s for over 15 years and they still look and sound great as tracking cans.

I prefer a straight cable than the coiledbut his is harder to find (if it is available anymore I don't know) because the coiled cable seems to put more strain on the plugs either end. However the advantage of the coiled cable is that if it does snag you feel it before the snagged cable pulls the headphones off your head or worse; pulls your interface/headphone amp etc. off the desktop.

Beyer must be commended for this fully serviceable approach to headphone design and indeed supported for this in an ever disposable world. It makes great sense for the studio owner keen to keep costs down. Highly recommended headphones is a given with Beyer but the addition of full serviceability makes them indispencable in the professional fields of studio and broadcast. Good quality cable.

N
I was worried, but...
Nedim 22.03.2021
I was a bit worried, because it didn't take more than two months for the cable on my new headphones to go bad. There was something loose, because I was losing low end, I was losing sound, and I was hearing crackling. I take good care of my things, so this suprised me. I've had this new cable now for over a year, and there have been no issues whatsoever.

j
Made for everyday use
jwojwo 05.08.2020
This cable is a replacement for one that has been used for 15 years. Part home use, but last 5 years office, and being packed/unpacked several times per day.
Easy to replace and a flexible in use with the provided 1/4 inch adapter.
The old cable can still be repaired and will then be a perfect backup.
Solid engineering!

A
Great Cable!
Anonymous 15.02.2016
A great, durable cable for my DT250s. I'm writing this review after using this cable for over 5 years almost daily. It's honestly still as solid as the day i received it. The fact that it's coiled makes it far more manageable than the original straight cable that came with the headphones. The only tiny negative that i can think of is that it only came with one screw which i lost long ago, but i've never really had a need to use it. If you need a replacement cable this is the one to go for.
