No more wind noises
Tiny Peter 21.07.2023
I run a little rental agency and had bought a set of beyerdynamic microphone for the drums. I use the beyerdynamic MC950 on the hats and the MC930 as the overheads. many events happen on outdoor stages and i often had problems with the wind noise. I hesitated to spend so much money on an original windscreen, but life had thought me a lesson: Buy cheap buy twice... So i bit the bullet and bought six of them (for all the mics i have).
I do not regret it at all. They sit firmly on the microphone, stay in place when the mic points straight down, look good and most importantly, no more wind noise issues. I now have them for 5 years, using them in the African sun and there is no deterioration of the foam.
Although expensive, i would highly recommend this windscreen

M
Windshield for Beyer M201 Mic
Maurice7778 24.01.2015
There's not much choice for windshields to fit this size of mic. There's a couple of very cheap ones but they didn't have good reviews so I decided to go for Beyer originals although the price is very high for a bit of foam. The original one supplied with the mic lasted nearly 20 years before it broke up so I guess it's a fair investment at £1 per year.

Bonne bonnette d'intérieur et d'extérieur calme
Jean-Luc471 21.10.2012
