A very useful box.

Used with the ATEM mini Pro to stream via the internet. Once you've sorted out port-forwarding to get round fire walls it works really well. There's a very good instruction vid by one of the Blackmagic guys on their website which explains exactly what the unit is capable of.
It's also very useful to provide another program output from the ATEM mini pro if plugged directly into the ethernet connection of your unit. This leaves the ATEM mini pro's HDMI output available to provide a multi view out of your inputs, whilst getting a program out on HDMI or SDI from the Streaming bridge.
Not used it much yet, but so far it has performed faultlessly. A great bit of kit.

Interesting product with potential

Innovative product for sending high quality video from one location to another. The video quality is very high and the latency is unnoticable.
However it must be noted that it requires an ATEM Pro or better to into it. As a way of sending a high quality video back to a studio it is excellent. It excels in a simple point to point setup.
However it is one way only, from ATEM out over the internet back into the Streaming Bridge and from there into another switcher via HDMI or SDi.
It doesn't support bidirectional communications so not suitable for two way communications without a 3rd party app such as Zoom or WhatsApp being used in parallel to handle the interactions.
But overall, very happy with my purchase.

Macht aus dem ATEM Mini Pro einen echten Live-Switcher ! Hier im Firmennetzwerk absolut super und stabil mit der höchsten Streaming Rate. Es gibt eine kleine Verzögerung, aber in der Regel kann man damit leben (ist auch im Original-Präsentationsvideo v. BMD zusehnen) schätze mal ne 1/4-1/2sec.
Die Streaming Bridge wird (wie die meisten Komponenten v. BMD auch) ziemlich "warm".
Da z.Z. leider keine Veranstaltungen stattfinden, kann man noch nicht viel mehr sagen. Aber hier in der Firma liefen der Mini Pro & die Streaming Bridge über einen kopmletten Arbeitstag störungsfrei durch.
