Very classy chorus sound

I've never owned a chorus pedal, if anything I played through old multi fx units. I decided to pull the plug on the CE-2W as I really enjoy a nice lush chorus sound nowadays.

I use it on my guitar rig and the tones I'm getting are absolutely beautiful. Very lush, warm and defined. It's almost always on in my pedalboard. The Ce-2 mode is quite subtle and unintrusive, whereas the ce-1 is super lush. The vibrato is also a nice addition. Highly recommended.

Superb stereo chorus

Boss chorus is legendary.

These aim to produce the classic sounds of their vintage units, in a small footprint, reliable modern format. And it is not just one sound, but there are variants, so it is very flexible.

So as you'd expect, it is a great sounding pedal. Of course this is at a higher price point than some alternatives, so you have to decide if it is worth that to you, but the sound quality is excellent, and Boss build quality has never been in doubt.

A really excellent chorus with no compromises, though lower cost options may be okay if you don't need all the range of sounds that this can provide.

This pedal is the true replica of the legendary CE-1 Chorus Ensemble, the world's first Chorus pedal introduced back in 1976.
Just 3 years later Boss introduced the CE-2 Chorus pedal,
The CE-2w comes with a 3 way switch allowing you to select 3 different Chorus modes:
l) Standard mode - offers the exact replica sound of the CE-2
Il) CE-1 mode
III) delivers chorus and vibrato, very similar to the Uni-Vibe
(US and Them from Dark Side of the Moon)

I use this pedal with electric guitar, bass, synths and other machines. When researching about the best chorus pedals in existence, i of course had heard about the mythical BOSS CE-1 Chorus Ensemble. Eventually i even used an original one in a studio... Fast forward to Summer 2019 - i order my beautiful Boss CE-2w - There it was - the magical sound i heard in countless records!
