I'm very impressed

My student clarinet was finally upgraded from the stock barrel to this buffet one. As a beginner, I've noticed a marked difference in my sound and the ease of playing.

Firstly, compared to the stock barrel, this one makes the notes feel fuller. While playing seems to take slightly more effort, the pay off is worth it, especially for the middle register and throat tones.

Perfect fit without the need for adjustment

Buying a woodwind part can be a hit-or-miss affair, but this Buffet Crampon RC Barrel fits like a dream.

Beautiful tone, very consistent intonation, and it just fits on my R13 without the need to take it to a repair shop for fine adjustment.

May be I am just being lucky, but I tend to think it is due to the stringent standand imposed on every part made by Buffet.

I am now a very happy customer.

Besserer Klang, dank Birne

Ich habe die Birne für meine Schülerklarinette Buffett E 13 gekauft. Der Ton der Klarinette ist durch die Birne satter und qualitativ besser geworden. Auch meine G-Klarinette Marke Ripamonti hat mit der Birne einen besseren Klang. Allerdings musste ich die Birne dafür in der Werkstatt etwas kürzen lassen.

Aunque el material se ve de menos calidad que antiguamente, suena mucho mejor, se ve que Buffet ha mejorado mucho la técnica de fabricación y los controles.
La afinación que da además es perfecta, espectacular.
