The Perseus Dio extends the concept of its predecessor with a three-voice, fully analogue octave-down module with adjustable octave filters.
Three knobs control the mixer section, which offers one or two octaves down and a dry, amplified distortion.
With dry control for a great light distortion sound that can drive the amp into overdrive.
The levels of the octave-down signals can be adjusted with the low-pass filters
Without filtering, the octaves are harmonically rich square waves that sound like an old-school video game, but when you turn up the dedicated filter controls, the harmonics are smoothed out and turned into clean octaves.
