Clavia Nord Half Moon Switch

Yes, it is a little bit expensive. But the build quality is very good. Yes, it is noisy. But it has a very satisfying feeling. My only issue is the cable. I cannot believe that no other solution could be found in order to get rid of the cable running below the instrument and to the back. I had to tape the cable at the bottom to ensure it does not flow and get accidentally caught somewhere. However, the jack is sticking out and you have to be careful not to hit it anywhere and bend it. Since the switch is firmly attached to the instrument with screws, one could expect it to somehow communicate with it without an exterior cable.

LES POINTS POSITIFS/ Discrétion ok sur le synthé, ne gêne pas le jeu main gauche, fixation parfaite, construction métal costaud, indispensable pour le NE5 (au aurait aimé aussi pouvoir le monter sur les anciens modèles, mais bon....

LES MAUVAIS POINTS /: le "clac" produit en changeant de vitesse est beaucoup trop fort : dans un enregistrement live, ça fait carrément désordre, et il faut revenir à un switch au pied.
Techniquement, on ne comprend pas bien pourquoi un contacteur aussi simple, voire primitif ferait autant de bruit : il existe des inters parfaitement silencieux dans le commerce, en particulier pour les nouvelles génerations de switches au pied ou les pedales guitare. Là, ça fait vintage, mais avec les mauvais côtés du vintage.
Autre mauvais point : le prix nettement excessif: ce truc devrait valoir 50 euros, pas plus.
Enfin, c'est un tout petit détail purement esthétique, mais c'est dommage: le câble pendouille sous le synthé, ça fait pas terrible, et ça s'accroche partout : un petit truc de fixation au milieu genre bandeau scratch autocollant aurait été le bienvenu.
Un bon point: 'il n'est pas nécessaire de démonter l'engin pour placer le NE5 dans la housse rouge NORD officielle.

Der Switch funktioniert perfekt mit der C2 zusammen. Er ist sehr schnell montiert und das Klinkenkabel muss nur unter der C2 hergeführt und hinten am Instrument in die betreffende Buchse eingesteckt werden. Leider gibt es keine Kabelführung, weshalb das Kabel unten schlackert. Klebeband hilft :-)

Der Switch ist recht stramm und es klackert natürlich laut beim schnellen Schalten, aber das kennt man ja vom Original auch. Gehört also dazu.

Ich bin mir allerdings sicher, dass man den Switch auch guten Gewissens für die Hälfte verkaufen könnte. Leider sind die Konkurrenzprodukte ähnlich teuer, so dass es kaum Ausweichmöglichkeiten gibt. Bei Ebay werden die Original-Hammond Schalter für mindestens 60 bis 70 Euro gehandelt und man muss dann noch selber löten bzw. für eine Befestigung sorgen. So ist das ganze sorgenfrei, aber eben nicht billig.
