This is probably the most expensive pedal patch cable available on thomann. I wanted to find out, if it is worth it.
So here is my review:
- The cable visually looks very massive, which was a little surprise for me, because until now, I used Rockboard patch cables and they were very thin.
- The quality is very high. The cable feels like one, which will last me for a very long time.
- This clearly is a Hi-End cable. Noiseless with a very clear sound.
Now the main question: would I recommend it to everyone?
Of course no.
As I have mentioned before this is a very well made cable, but if you are playing in your bedroom with a practice amp or just a tiny solid state amp and aren't a gigging musician, there is absolutely no reason for you to buy a 15cm cable for this ridiculously high price.
My recommendation: If you want a big improvement in sound and much less noise, consider upgrading from (of course if you are using such) cheap patch cables to the ones made by Rockboard or the cheaper Cordial ones. This will be a much bigger improvement for a much lower price.

Great quality product

Excellent quality product. I had the impression that some of the patch cables were causing additional noise which got confirmed once they got replaced by these ones. Not that the others were bad quality but this one is way superior.
They are a bit on the hard side, so it's something to consider in case you need to do some weird twist in your pedalboard.

Good, with one flaw.

Nice cables, but the big connectors make them quite stiff and hard to use. I wish they had smaller connectors.
Now i use ErnieBall Patch cables with the small connectors. Much easier to use.
