I'm no expert or connesieur (does it spell that way?), just a hobby player since 40 years. There probably are better strings out there, or just as good ones for a better price but over the years it's been the Daddario XLs I always have been coming back to. They are like your old mate that you always can rely on. I have never ever had a bad sample of theese. For those of you that have not tried them yet, they are smooth to your fingers and easy on your frets. They are not too bright, just so right. Lasts long too if you are not a zzzing-addict.

Shorty strings for a fast and deep rock accompaniment. Fingers don't get tired, flexible at the right point and easy to assemble. Good durability. Recommended.

I find the obssession about strings quite ridiculous. The feel changes, yes. Some feel sleeker like these Daddarios, others much less so, feeling like you've got sand paper under your fingertips.
These are just fine.
Last about as long as others I've used, some other brands noticeably changing (for the worse) quicker.
Never had any issues with Daddarios nor any of the major brands.

Great strings and price -as always. Prefer these over Ernie Ball short scale strings as I couldn't get those to intonate properly. These are consistantly great as with every set of bass / guitar strings I've ever bought from D'addario.
