Not a bad mute

Nothing majorly wrong with this mute, but there are better alternatives out there (all be it more expensive). At first it kept falling out of the bell and would not feel secure, but after a few days of playing it, applying cork grease, wettening corks and trying out various techniques of putting the mute in, it did eventually sort itself out after about a week. WHEN USING FOR THE FIRST FEW TIMES, DO SO OVER A SOFT SURFACE E.G. BED, SOFA, PILE OF CUSHIONS. I didn't and as a result when it did fall out the first time I tried it, an small, but noticeable dent was created! Really good sound all over and would reccomed for a first Harmon mute

Sehr gute Intonation für die Bassposaune

Der Dämpfer macht Freude, da er über den gesamten Tonbereich einer Bassposaune immer die gleiche Ansprache hat und die Intonation sehr gut erhält. Die Ansprache in der Kontraoktave ist perfekt im Vergleich zu anderen Herstellern. Top Wah-Wah für Bassposaune!

Económica, adaptable, calidad.

Es la sordina más económica y con mejor relación calidad-precio del mercado. Además, sus dimensiones son bastante estándar y se adaptan bien en todas las campanas sin ningún problema. No cambia tanto el timbre como para gastarte el doble con otra marca más cara.

Ich benutze den Dämpfer nicht mit einer Bassposaune, sondern einer Tenorposaune mit sehr großem Trichter. Deswegen hält er relativ schlecht, was aber nicht an der Verarbeitung liegt.
Ansprache ist gut, man muß relativ viel Kraft aufwenden, was im Vergleich zu Cup/Straight Dämpfern aber nicht besonders mehr ist. Der Sound ist so, wie man sich das vorstellt (Froschpolka).
