Great strings for my needs
_obra_ 10.07.2021
After years of balancing between long lasting but bright sounding Elixir and other brands with sound more usable for me but much shorter life I founded a compromise.
DR's are what I need right now. Not cheep, but You get what You pay for.
Update:
After second set of Lo-Riders, I founded that g strings buzzes on some positions right out the box. Like Pure Blues, with last few sets with dead E string DR seams to lost something...
Not my first choice any more!

Good set of strings
JasperB 08.12.2018
These are high quality strings with a long life. They seem to be good for low-mid growl (likely dependent on the bass as well). They are a bit stiffer than Hi-Beams but play very comfortably.

Very good!

Very good strings! Thought I'd try them out once and they have been my go to strings ever since for my 4 string basses. Long life and great sound. Perfect for me and my tone!

Attention à la tension.
claudine 29.05.2011
