P
the holy grail of picks

This is the thickest pick that I can still comfortably play pinch harmonics with. I love thick picks, don't get me wrong; but after 2mm, pinch harmonics are impossible. The quality of the pick is obvious, it feels well-made. also, 72 picks is a lot of picks, you really don't expect the sheer volume of picks that come. They also come with a sanded, grippy side on the logo end, so it can be gripped really well on the front; but it's smooth on the back, so you can slide your thumb down for pinch harmonics.

Picks picks picks!

They are just picks. Not supposed to be more, not supposed to be less. 2.0 shiny thick, the best for me. The turtle logo looks awesome, and I love turtles: they have patience and our society needs patience. I hope these don't have tiny legs, like other ones I lost in the past. They were running away from me all the time, it was horrible!

unbreakable

I've been using these Dunlop 2.0mm picks for years now and by this stage, they're the only ones I need . They've a great tone as I like to hit fairly strongly -a good medium shape and easy to hold.
I ran out of them lately and had to use thinner 1.0mm picks that I borrowed. I broke both of them within 30mins of playing so now, being worried that my fav ones could be discontinued - I spotted an economy sized pack of 75 on Thomann so, I reckon I've enough to see me out!
( I would say that maybe if you're an acoustic strummer, a slightly more flexible one 1.2? might give a sweeter sound) but for my mainly lead stuff 2.00mm is the way to go.

Solid, well made but slippy pick
Dub77 10.07.2020
I got a bag of these to try with my bass. I like trying different picks and always buy the big bags when i can, even if the pick is not as expected, theyll never go to waste.
Overall, these are nice picks. I like heavy gauge but normally use 1.5mm at most. I decided to try these in 2mm. The quality of the picks is really great. No sharp edges or weird anomaly’s. The quality is consistent. I however find that they are very smooth with almost no grip. This mixed with the thickness that the pick doesn't bend, means that they slip and i drop them a lot. I will go back to using Dunlop Max grip instead.

Pros.. solid. Sturdy. Well made.
Cons.. no grip and slippy
