Great replacement for G&K MB210!
PeeVee 17.10.2017
I don't like the "HiFi" sound of neodymium speakers and this type of speakers don't seem as reliable as ceramic speakers as I blew both speakers of my G&K MB210 (out of warranty). I replaced both speakers with the Eminence Delta-10 B and they seem like the ideal replacement. A 2x10" configuration with two of this speakers offers great low end but not too boomy/wooly and yet great definition in mids. At higher volumes they offer the right type of groan and compression. As far as I'm concerned, this should be the standard speaker in any 10" combo or cabinet. Very cost effective, reliable and great sounding.

Eminence Delta 10B Pro Bass Speakers
AndyJ 18.10.2014
I have recently bought an Ampeg SVT Pro3 to replace my Trace Elliot AH250SMX amp and needed to upgrade my Trace Elliot Celestion loaded cab to cope with the extra power from the Ampeg.

After doing a lot of on line research to get as close a theoretical speaker sound as I could to the original TE speakers (Resonant Frequency, Frequescy response etc) I decided to get a pair of Eminence Delta-B speakers rated at 350w each and 16 ohms. (I have a 1 x 15" cab @ 8 ohms to match it to).

These are seriously meaty pieces of hardware which take the punch from the Ampeg no problem at all - not surprising considering the weight of them...I am an old fashioned "bass speakers=heavy" type of player by the way. You can't beat a bit of solid, trouser flapping, bass heading out into the audience

I was very impressed with the sound and clarity of the speakers and also the similarity in sound to the original TE speakers which is what I have been used to for over 20 years playing bass.

The build quality is excellent with a good solid metal frame for the cone to sit into and a nice large magnet enclosure with reassuringly robust spade connectors. It is sometimes these and other "less important" parts that are manufactured with a lesser quality to save on cost for the manufacturer but I am pleased to say these and all the hardware seem excellent quality and also at a very reasonable price.

If you are thinking of upgrading your bass cab, then I can definitely recommend these for excellent quality, sound and cost.

When I can I will be upgrading the 1 x 15" with the Delta 15A to get a fully matched cab setup

I did not like these at all
TresMeister 11.03.2024
I bought a pair of these Eminence Delta-10 B's to replace the existing 10″ GK Paragon Neodymiums that are in my GK MBE210, and I was very disappointed - they are not even remotely comparable to the original speakers. Just saying.. they are not for me at all..

Habe 2 Stück als Ersatz in einem Hartke Bassamp verbaut. Was soll man sagen, Krach machen sie tüchtig und klingen dabei vernünftig. Würde ich definitiv wieder kaufen.

Empfehlung!
