Great Value!
Martin4035 28.01.2014
This case is not the most expensive you can get, and obviously the quality isn't the highest, but it's certainly worth every penny, like most Epiphone stuff. The fit of the guitar was perfect, and the lining nice and soft to prevent damage.
The catches and hinges are in the serviceable category again, not the best quality you will ever see, but perfectly adequate for the intended usage.
The construction is tough enough to take the guitar out to gigs etc, but possibly not up to rough handling by roadies. Mind you, you could say the same for a Gibson case that costs much more.
Thomann's service as always was 100% spot on, and the case was very well packed and arrived quickly and safely.
After a period of a few months of use, the case bore up well to my normal use of 2 rehearsals and 1 gig per week. Of course it acquired knocks and scrapes along the way, but nothing more than you'd expect, and most importantly, it protected the guitar inside with no complaints at all.
You wouldn't want to drive over it in a van, but then it's not designed for that.
Overall, excellent value for money, and the price matches the budget guitars that's it's likely to hold. I'd get another if needed.

S
The perfect bed for your SG
ShredHead83 23.05.2021
I wanted a good, durable and sturdy case for my Ltd Ed SG, i use this case basically as an all purpose case, keeping my SG protected when not in use at home, transporting etc. I've had it for about 6 months now, and what can i say but - It's great!
Pros:
its light, yet very durable, so perfect for taking your axe to jams or gigs.
The locks are decent quality (they do feel more durable than the ones on my Rockcase)
The handle is well positioned so the case has a good centre of gravity when carrying it.
The guitar fits very snuggly so i can say with confidence, that axe wont be moving around during transport! - The strap hook on my SG is on the horn instead of behind the neck, and even with this it still fits perfectly snug in the case.
Cons: This may be nitpicking, but it only has 3 locks on it, would be good if it had one or 2 more just in case one gets busted.
All in all, i would fully recommend this case if you have an SG.

Decent Quality for everyday use
Dforce10 24.05.2018
Decent quality for everyday use but don't expect this case to protect your guitar on a flight. For the price the latches, lock and the metal holding the handle on should be of much higher quality but the case should be alright for taking your guitar over to friends to jam or even a gig if handled with care but don't expect to survive going through luggage at the airport.
