A
Epiphone Sheraton II BK Review.
Alan686 19.05.2013
This guitar looks great, it has a very pretty elegance to it. This does not however hide any faults in sound quality or standard of finish. The finish of this guitar is second to none that I have encountered inmore than 30 years of experience. I looked closely and could not find a single flaw, the binding, which seems to be all over the guitar is stunning and again flawless. The inlay on the fretboard is of the same quality and standard. The pickup's are more than adequate, quite good infact, they give a range of sounds that is quite wide and versatile, the neck position is especially sweet and smooth. The neck feels superb, with a great action for all styles of playing. One very useful quirk I found - when both pickups are selected [middle position] each volume control will act as a master volume control at the off position, very useful for killing your sound at the end of a song...... COOL, so you only need to roll off one pot. All in all a very cool, looking, sounding, playable guitar at a "SO WORTH IT" price. Buy 1, I did, WOW!

Unchanged for years and I can see why!
Douggie 28.04.2015
I have bought several hollow bodies and this one takes the cake. It's built to the specs of Gibson's higher end guitars with epiphone electronics and it shows. The guitar looks as good as it sounds and plays better than it looks. I like a rich clean and this guitar delivers. The blues low crunch is also supreme. I have more sense than money and every once in a while it pays off. Great guitar for anyone who loves that deep classic sound and smooth look. The classic look never gets old and if it's good enough for the Beatles it's good enough for me!

Weapon of Choice ..
Dave2899 28.08.2015
John Lee Hooker said about his weapon of choice the Epiphone Sheraton ''Epiphone out did the Gibson ES335 with this Guitar'' This is an Epiphone original, Sheratons have been made exclusively by Epiphone since 1958/59 .. The Sheraton ll looks like a Gift from God and plays like John Lee Hooker says .. ''an out did ES335.''

Great value guitar
Paolo264 05.12.2018
Cracking guitar for the price point.

I replaced the pickups with gibson 57 classics and it sang like a bird afterwards.

All in all, money well spent.
