Diese Flats klingen erst einmal überhaupt nicht nach Flats. Brillante Höhen und alles klar definiert ohne das Dumpfe, was man von Flats vielleicht erwartet. Trotzdem lässt sich der Sound so einregeln, dass es nach typischen Flats klingt. Das Soundspektrum ist mächtig. Die Oberfläche ist extrem Smooth und extrem schön zu bespielen. Besonders in hohen Soloparts erzeugt das einen wundervollen Sound.
Ich verwende die Saiten auf einem 82er P-Bass, Ibanez AFB-200 und in Shortscale auf einem Höfner Shorty. Vom Sound her kann man damit auch viele Rounds ersetzen. Absolute Empfehlung !
