solid thickness, looses top end

Great strings for drop tuning (I play in drop C) and can really hold string tension with faster/aggressive music. Slight loss in higher frequencies cutting through - can possibly resolve with EQ settings

Klasse Saiten. Ich hab mit meiner SG lange an C# genascht, da wollte ich es so wasserdicht machen wie eine Ernie Ball Saitenverpackung und hab die 011-054 einfach mal gekauft, damit das Geschlabber ein Ende hat. Ich hatte erwartet, das mit den vermeintlich dicken Drähten eine Bass / Bariton- Erfahrung auf mich zukommt. Aber weit gefehlt, der Satz spielt sich erstaunlich komfortabel. Im Gegenteil gehen perkussive Techniken wie Slaps und Pops sogar leichter von der Hand, weil die Saiten viel responsiver sind. Hätte ich nicht gedacht. Die Umstellung war erstaunlich einfach, Sattel konnte bleiben wie er war, der Halsstab brauchte ca. eine 3/4 Trussrod Umdrehung mehr Gegenzug, die Intonation an der TOM Bridge ca 1 Umdrehung pro Brückchen. Easy. Sehr empfehlenswerter Satz und der richtige Weg in den dunklen Keller.
