Good for a 16" bass drum

I have bought it to use it on a small 16" bass drum for busking. I was looking for a thick single ply head as I tend to keep a very low tuning and did not want to use any muffling. It has a decent deep and warm tone considering its size as a kick and it is perfect if used to play jazz. If lightly muffled then it tends to emphasize attack over tone but still usable. I assume it would behave similarly if used on a tom

Warmer vintage sound

Ich habe das Fell auf einer 16er BD-klingt warm und rund, kann ich weiterempfehlen. Ich bin gespannt wie sich das coating in puncto Haltbarkeit hier entwickelt.

Acheté pour adapter mon tom bass 16' en kick pour un set "acoustique".
Magnifique peau que j'utilise comme peau de résonance.
Très très satisfait du son produit.
Je recommande sans hésiter avec la Evans 16" EMAD Clear Tom/Bass Drum en frappe pour un son de dingue avec un look super classe ;)

Ottima pelle dal suono caldo, morbido che ricorda le classiche pelli vintage. Io la utilizzo su una cassa da 16 e la trovo perfetta soprattutto, per praticare jazz.

La consiglierei ad un amico.
