I use this in my Remo Practice pad 8", because the Remo head is way too loud. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, make the pad quiet. The rebound is also good, which it does not make a big difference once in the real kit. It was worth the money!

I also had previous experience with this "SoundOff" with a friend's drumkit and they worked pretty well for practicing without making too much noise.

I defenitively recommend them if you want something quick and effective, or just like me, have a less loud pad to practice if you live in an apartment.

Excellent dampeners!

I am so glad that these dampeners exist. I can play without disturbing my neighbours now. They do their job and well! The drums are really quiet. I am very happy and highly recommend these dampeners! Perhaps, the only thing that Evans could have added was a plastic (hard) material on the surface that would help with stick rebound. But, other than that, these dampeners are perfect!

1. Im Gegensatz zu den 10, 12 und 16 Zoll breiten Dämpfungsmatten mit dem OVALEN Evans-Logo, die ich vor einem halben Jahr bei Thomann gekauft hatte, ist dieses Exempar einen Zentimeter zu schmal. Die unangenehme Folge dessen ist, dass der Dämpfer auf dem Tom herumrutscht und bei steiler Aufhängung vom Tom herunterfällt. Derart hohe Fehlertoleranzen scheinen sich auch bei anderen Evans-Produkten eingeschlichen zu haben, wie z. B. dem Drill-Bit-Stimmschlüssel von Evans, der in keinen gängigen Akuschrauber passt.
2. Obwohl diese Dämpfungsmatte fast den ganzen Ton der Trommel "killt", ist das Anschlaggeräusch immer noch viel zu laut, so dass das Tom auch mit Dämpfer noch ziemlich stark wummert. Für das Üben und Musizieren in Mehrfamilienhäusern sind deshalb Mesh-Heads die deutlich bessere Alternative.

Excelente reducción del sonido, aunque manteniendo ligeramente el sonido real de cada uno de los tom. Desde que los tengo puedo practicar a cualquier hora sin molestar, porque el material del que está hecho también absorbe el sonido del golpe de baqueta de manera que suena incluso menos que si la golpeas sobre un cojín.
