Excellent solution!

After using George L's for many years in my studio/live pedalboard. It was an upgrade from other cheaper brands in terms of sound and reducing cable footprint, however the plugs often came loose during traveling, and the cable had a noticeable midrange bump (at least in my rig).

I switched to Evidence Audio Monorail cable, but at the time they were not manufacturing their own plugs, so I kept using the George L's plugs coupled with the Monorail (this was a trick of the trade I picked up from guitar forums in the USA). The sound improved, so I tolerated the struggle with the plugs coming loose.

I was very pleased to hear that Evidence Audio was now supplying their own plugs to match the Monorail. I was still a bit skeptic about whether they would truly work out. I'm happy to report that they work splendidly, above and beyond my expectation. Coupling the cable to the plug requires a bit of work, but it is quite straightforward and the results are definitely worth the while. Another pleasant and unexpected feature is that the footprint of the plug is even smaller than the George L's, which is great news for my cramped pedalboard.

Price-wise it is expensive, but it's on par with patch cables of the same quality. All things considered, they are worth every penny and then some.

K
The best patch cable plug there is
Kimi 06.10.2015
If you want to make your pedalboard or rack system look as clean as possible you dont want to use anything other than Evidence SIS system. The ease of use is by far the best I have ever come across. You just cut the cable to desired lenght, peel of the shielding and screw the plug on and you are ready. It makes building guitar rigs so much more simpler. You dont have to worry about cables being too long or too short. With these plugs and cable you can make the layout of your board just the way you want it without any compromise. These plugs are really reliable as well. The connection is really sturdy so you dont have to worry about the connection. You get to play without worries and for me that is the way equipment should work.

Good quality, easy to make
FMbass 05.02.2022
Once I started using the Evidence solderless system it has been quite a learning curve to properly make the patchcables. Eventually, I got the hang of it and since it has been so easy to make new patchcables. The quality of the cables is very good and induces very low capacitance to the overall chain. Never had a cable break or go bad.

With regards to solderless systems, the internet tells you that either solderless OR soldered cables is the way to go. To me, both work well and the system provided by Evidence is easy to work with and results in good audio quality. Definitely recommended!
