It is not without reason that the Fender amps of the tweed era (named after the amp's fabric cover) have such a great reputation as the ideal amplifiers for blues and rock 'n' roll. On one hand, they deliver crisp clean sounds at a moderate volume that are otherwise hard to find. On the other hand, turning up the volume releases a soft, creamy distortion - lying across the fine line between clean and crunch - that is simply unrivalled.
The Reissue Blues Deluxe provides two channels - one of which is predestined for the clean section, while the other can be made to "sing" wonderfully even at moderate volumes via the master volume. You can get pretty much any good sound between the Bassman and the Deluxe. With the Eminence 12" speaker, the amp has enough power to fill even smaller clubs with sound. Nomen est omen: The Blues Deluxe is an excellent amp (not only, but especially) for blues and all styles where warm and harmonically distorting sounds are required.
