Hot rod power in a small package

The Blues Junior is part of Fender's Hot Rod series, and this relatively small 15-watt amp refuses to compromise on one thing above all: Sound. Equipped with three 12AX7 and two EL84 tubes, the compact one-channel combo delivers a sound similar to that of its more powerful bigger brothers. Whether it's clean or distorted, the unmistakable brilliance of the sound is undeniably there. The Blues Junior is also in no way inferior to the larger Fender amps in terms of design (except for the smaller format), and the cabinet features a classy black textured vinyl covering and an authentically aged silver grille cloth. This bundles also includes a robust Thon flight case to allow the amp to be transported in safety.

Everything a Blues guitarist could wish for

Blues by name, Blues by nature: The Fender Blues Junior IV has earned its moniker for a very good reason. Even when cranked up (especially with the Fat switch activated), it produces the kind of clean, warm sounds that players have come to expect. However, the amp can also deliver some pretty impressive distortion, allowing players to stray a little from the Blues. All in all, it is astonishing how many sounds can be coaxed from this combo, equipped as it is with just a few settings for reverb, master volume, middle, bass, and treble. The Thon flight case included here, which is made in Germany and features a thick, sturdy birch multiplex construction with steel ball corners, will ensure that the amp can always be transported and stored safely.

For guitarists who love vintage gear

If you're a guitarist who wants a space-saving guitar combo without having to make compromises in terms of sound, the Fender Blues Junior IV is the perfect choice. There is no denying that finding a mid-priced combo that still delivers a full-fledged, authentic Blues sound is not always that easy. Whenever the stage beckons, this amp's 15-watt power stage will also be able to provide an impressive amount of volume without any unwanted breakup while playing clean. The included Thon case makes this bundle particularly suitable for musicians who want to transport their amplifier and use it on stage regularly, not just leave it in the rehearsal room.

About Fender

Fender is without doubt one of the most legendary guitar and amplifier manufacturers of all time. The company was founded in 1946 by its namesake Leo Fender († 1991), whose innovative ideas brought a breath of fresh air into the musical world. His Telecaster, Stratocaster, Precision Bass, and Jazz Bass are not only classics – they also continue to shape the styles of musicians in countless genres to this day. Timeless Fender amplifier models such as the Bassman, Twin, Deluxe, and Princeton also enjoy a stellar reputation. Besides maintaining its classic product portfolio, however, the company is also constantly developing new products that make Fender a driving force in today’s music industry.

Fender sound for Fender fans

For a long time now, legions of guitarists have been captivated by the bright yet warm sound of Fender amplifiers. Their combination of warm bass and brilliant treble response produces a sound that plenty of devotees know just how to harness - particularly when it comes to the Blues. However, though its name might suggest otherwise, the Blues Junior IV is by no means just a Blues amp: This compact combo is also capable of delivering a range of tones that will win over Country, Funk, Jazz, and Rockabilly players, among other genres, so its range of potential users goes far beyond Blues circles.
