Carefull as work is required (filing for the the strings) on the nut.

Ho acquistato questo manico per sostituire quello di un Jazz Bass Squire. Ottimo feeling, costruzione impeccabile, bellissimo anche esteticamente. Niente da dire.
Ho però riscontrato problemi per inserire le vecchie meccaniche Squire perchè i fori predisposti del manico erano leggermente più stretti.
Sono dovuto ricorrere al liutaio che ha sistemato il tutto ma avrei preferito evitare.
Ribadisco, prodotto veramente di qualità, ha drasticamente migliorato il basso su cui è stato montato. Ottimo suono e feeling ma peccato per quel piccolo intoppo...

Bon, pour avoir l'habitude de ce genre d'opération, a savoir un remplacement d'un manche sur une de mes jazz-bass Fender, j'ai eu la mauvaise surprise lors de la mise en place des mécaniques de me retrouver avec une téte fendue ! ATTENTION, le bois de ces manches Rostied est certes magnifique mais, sec et cassants comme du verre ! je n'ai pas jugé utile de renvoyer le manche en question. recollé dans la grande tradition des luthiers, colle a bois plus serres joints et la cassure ne se voit quasiment pas après recollage. La tête c'est fendue dans le sens des veines du bois. pour le reste, le manche est vraiment d'un aspect magnifique. Bon frettage, beaux vernis. attention, il est tout de même assez épais genre PB .

Monté sur un corp de Squier entièrement modifié " micro , mécanique , électronique etc... ce manche que j'ai équipé d'un sillet en os fait sur mesure , a mis la touche final a cette modif " la cerise sur le gâteaux " l'acoustique de ce manche est remarquable , l'érable torréfié apporte incontestablement une couleur , une dynamique et un confort de jeux supérieur a mes attente , un investissement parfaitement récompenser !
