Excellent money saver, but of questionable durability
Han-earl 13.05.2018
I've been using these for almost eighteen months to power guitar pedals, tuner, metronome, headphone amp, etc. The device among these with the largest current consumption is an FEA compressor (30mA). In all cases the battery will keep the devices running without problem through performances, and rehearsals.

For those used to alkaline batteries, watch out for the discharge curve of NiMH cells; you will not get that slow discharge, and thus plenty of warning before needing to change batteries, that you get with alkaline batteries, and you need to get into the habit of changing, and recharging, batteries preemptively.

Other than that? No memory effect; high capacity cells; reasonably quick charging, etc.

What?s not to like? After 12+ months of use, one of my batteries has developed crystalline residue on one of the terminals. Thus the three stars on quality, and the comment about questionable durability. ymmv, but it's still hard to argue that it isn't excellent value for money.

Long gone 07.03.2020
Got 4 of them for 5 years now. Haven't used them so much but they are good. In a boss tu3 they don't last for long lately, but they are becoming old so I guess it's normal. When they were newer I used to use them as a power source for active pickups and they were long lasting

Dura-who?!
Anonymous 24.03.2015
Been using rechargeable Duracell batteries for a long time now. Lost a couple of the last year or so, and decided to try something new.

These bad boys blow them out of the water. Last for far longer.

The only downside is they are a *teeny tiny little* bit bigger so are a SNUG fit in some things. But that really is a minor complaint. They work beautifully.
