A unique take on limiting with a natural sound and a fantastic feature set
zachtuallyspeaking 20.07.2022
I admit ... I'm kind of addicted to limiters and I've tried a lot of them. Elixir from Flux is both a comfortable yet new & exciting take on the concept. With a UI that looks like 2130 beamed it back to us, it's an easy-to-use yet wickedly powerful tool. As someone who loves to stack dynamics processors to get increasing levels of control, the "stages" feature in Elixir is one I've yet to see replicated anywhere else. It essentially acts like multiple "knees" to the limiter, allowing for a much more natural-sounding result.
