Focusrite Rednet PCIeNX

Sans le moindre doute mon meilleur achat de cette année écoulée 2024. Cette carte est une pure merveille de technologie. De plus elle n'est pas installée dans un PC mais dans une extension Sonnet Tech, via thunderbolt 3 (relié à un Mac) et configuré via un réseau Dante. Une fois que l'on travaille avec, on ne sait plus s'en passer.
128 canaux, mais possibilité de faire l'upgrade vers 256 canaux, via Audinate (Dante)

Deutliche Latenzverbesserung

Die Karte habe ich für mein Behringer Wing Dante System gekauft.
Die Latenz in Cubase/Nuendo war mit Wing USB bei 3 ms am
Eingang und 3 ms am Ausgang. Auch wenn ich ich die Samples runtergesetzt habe und Crackeln bei hoher Auslastung hörbar
wurde.
Aber durch die RedNet PCIeNX habe ich komfortable 1.667 ms
Eingangslatenz und 1.333 ms Ausgangslatenz, also 3 ms Roundtrip.
Ich benutze einen Intel i7 PC unter Windows 11.
Da muß man in Cubase/Nuendo die Focusrite Thunderbolt ASIO Treiber wählen, nicht die RedNet PCI (die sind für Mac). Dauerte etwas, bis ich das
geschnallt habe. Aber jetzt bin ich zufrieden.
