Another great low budget gig bag!
Suman 05.07.2016
I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this but so far I've been very impressed. I'd been looking around for ages trying to find a gig bag to replace the one that came with my bass that'd reached the end of the line and was falling to pieces. I looked at all the usual suspects such as Mono and Fusion but I didn't like the designs. Too fussy, too colourful and too stylised. I wanted something simple, compact, lightweight that did the job that didn't cost an arm and a leg. This Gewa gig bag seems to have fit the bill.

I really like the design of it with the tasteful white trim and small orange branding. The pockets are huge - I have to stop myself from weighing myself down with all my peripherals! The build quality seems pretty good, only time will tell how it holds up but as far as I can tell the construction is solid. Zips and stitching seem strong. I also like the neck support and there's plenty of padding for my bass. It feels very secure in there.

As for the cons there are a couple of minor gripes. The backpack strap length adjusters slip quite a lot. This makes it easy to take the bass on and off your back but I find myself constantly having to pull down on the straps when carrying my bass to tighten them up again. It's not a big deal and I've got into the habit of doing it without thinking now. The other thing is the placement of the front handle. I love the fact that it's there but for me it's a bit too low down on the bag and would be better if it were higher up closer to the neck. I'm sure a taller person with longer arms wouldn't find this a problem though.

All in all a great value medium range gig bag that I'd definitely recommend.

P
Really good bag for reasonable price
Poetanczyk 28.11.2019
Im truly shocked how well made is that Gigbag it holds my bass perfectly and i dont need to worry about my precious instrument.
Using mainly for little trips or for lessons but some bigger voyages would be no problem at all. Bag have three additional pockets to fit some cables, effect pedals and other things you like :D
Inside there is cozy bed for your bass with neck support and strap attached to it aswell. Already tested in rain and there was no water inside so its really waterproof and you don't have to worry about bass getting wet anywhere. Here ya go! That's a great deal!

Great for the price! It's a only a little stiff, but for simple transport needs it is abolutely fine and very well made. What's important is that there's a neck support which I haven't seen in some much more expensive gigbags. Handle in the front of gigbag is also much more useful, than you would've thought!

Boring outside but sturdy inside
Reginald Wooster 09.06.2023
I'm not a fan of this bag's look but its features wise this gig bag is nice. Pretty good zippers, nice sturdy Cordura 600 outside, paddings, and big wide pockets to carry additional stuff.
The single thing I really hate it's the placement of the front handle. Why is it so low? Who came up with such an idea? Looks like it was some kind of a Slanderman. It's really uncomfortable to carry the bass using this handle, you have to keep your arm bent all the time.
Also, I wish the velcro for the neck rest would be a bit tighter, it makes the bass neck a bit loosy on that "pad".

I believe the bag will serve me for a pretty long time though.
