Warm sound but rough to play.

These strings will gave me more tone and body on my mid-range open back banjo. They can be rough on your fingers if you are used to thinner steel strings but you will be fine after playing them once or twice. I can't really say anything about durability, I haven't used them enough but I had to grade it to submit my review so... They seem durable, I guess.

Excellent banjo strings which brought back to life a banjo that was donated to us. They sound totally awesome however we as players (zero experience) do not!. No fault of strings just us :) Would recommend these strings

Gute Stärken-Kombination

Ich spiele meistens in Old-Time 2-/3-Finger Styles und ziehe daher generell leichtere Saiten vor, allerdings habe ich für die 5. Saite gerne etwas minimal dickeres. Ich bin bei diesem Satz noch in der Testphase, kann zur Haltbarkeit daher wenig sagen, aber vom "Feeling" her ist das eine echt nette Stärken-Kombination, die mir doch sehr liegt. Für Clawhammer würde ich vermutlich auch diesen Saitensatz den Sets mit 009er Saiten vorziehen.

Unnötig viel Plastik bei der Verpackung, wofür ich zwar keinen Punkt abziehen will, aber das ist ein Manko aller GHS-Saiten. Das ginge auch umweltfreundlicher.
