Gibraltar SC-GCA-TP Cymbal Arm

This cymbal arm has so many features, you can´t even think of all these.
The grapper clamp can grab pipes with a hickness of 2 inches. I´ve never seen such thick pipes like that. Also there is the really great Swing Nut by Gibraltar who works really fast, I Think two times faster than with the normal wings crew.
Incidentally there is an Instruction in the package who tells how the Swing Nut works, but I don´t think that this is really important because the Swing is so easy to use.
In the end there is the 2 times secured cymbal mounting, One Time normally and another time with a drumkeyscrew and even with a lot of violence it´s nnot possible to move the cymbal-mounting if he´s secured these 2 times.

And the felts, the sleeves and the washers are really a good quality.

Um ein 10" Splash ans Set zu bringen kauft man natürlich keinen zusätzlichen Beckenständer.
Also musste ein Beckenarm her.

Da man über Gibraltar überwiegend gutes hört, hab ich mich da mal umgesehen.

Der SC-GCA-TP ist nicht der günstigste, die echt guten Features rechtfertigen den Preis aber allemal.

Allen voran das Swing-Nut-System. Einfach genial. Cymbal-Montage "on the fly" in 10 Sekunden.
Das Suchen nach verloren Flügelmuttern ist damit auch vorbei.
Ich werde wohl meine anderen Beckenständer auch auf dieses System umrüsten.

Ein anderes tolles Feature ist die stufenlose Verstellung des Neigewinkels. Bei vielen Zahnrasterungen ist das Becken entweder zu flach oder zu sehr geneigt. Hier kann ich jeden Winkel einstellen.
Hab ich den gefunden, mit der Schraube (Vierkant) sichern und selbst bei harter Spielweise kann sich da nix verstellen - super.

Will man wirklich ein Haar in der Suppe finden, könnte man den etwas strammen Grip des geriffelten Arms in der Führung "bemängeln".
Aber da kann man auch sicher sein, dass es hält und das ist jammern auf höchstem Niveau.

Gibraltar beweist einmal mehr, dass sie zur Topliga in Sachen Hardware gehören. Kaufempfehlung!
