I bought these tuners to remove a string tree on my Schecter Nick Johnston guitar after watching Jonathan Koh's video on Youtube.
At first the tuners of the 1st and 2nd string seemed too short for me, but they appeared to be just high enough. They hold the tuning great, and due to the fact that they are staggered I could remove the string tree and really got rid of the problem of detuned 1st and 2nd strings after using tremolo.

These are drop-in replacements for Yamaha Pacifica. They come with adapters that would fit most of electric guitar tuner attachments (one screw at 135 degrees, or one at 90 degrees with respect to the tuning key pole. I did not need the adapters, since the 2 pins fall right in the holes drilled from the factory, but you can use them should you need to. Check the manufacturer website for more info.

And they are staggered as well, which is nice.

One of them has the finish a bit hazy, that's the only minus I can find for the 4 stars.

This product has been reviewed many times on internet, so I will not go over its undeniable qualities.

But. Nowhere was it mentioned that the Fender mounting plates were the *only one* missing from the set when you buy the product. Fender guitars are so ubiquitous that it just doesn't make any sense to include every other mounting plates but the Fender ones.

Not only does this leave me with an additional cost to bear (9€ for the mounting plates on their website + 24€ shipping fees from Canada !!), but now there stands my guitar, half-way through the installation process.
Either I have to waste my time fitting back the stock tuning machines and getting them set up again, only so I can remove them again when I receive the new plates, or I need to wait until I receive the new mounting plates before I can actually pick up my guitar and play it again.

For such a high quality and expensive product, there is no other way to describe such a sale strategy than outrageous.
