The Good: The material of the saddles is top knotch, no doubt there. As well as the overall sound improvement, better sustain, no more metallic sounding high frequencies and no more string slipping while playing your beloved Offset guitar...
The Tusq saddles are easy to intonate, there is no more rattling of the bridge saddle height adjustment screw as the tollerances are far lower on these then on your avarage stock metric bridge...
They can be also set to any neck radius due to their individual hight adjustment. (Something you can't do with a Mustang style bridge)

The Bad: Since the saddles are made from a non conductive material, being synthetic Ivory, this means you have to find another way to connect the ground wire (as it won't work anymore on the bridge post) or you will get serious buzz otherwise.
Second; the bridge barrels are about 9.5 mm width, as the Jazzmaster/Jaguar come with 10mm saddles (MIJ/CIJ/SQUIER) this means the outer Tusq barrels will be pushed inward. This also means that for the US made Jazzmaster or Jaguar with their wider string spacing this will be the case as well. You might find this a bit anoying if you want to use lightergauge strings.

In short, if you don't mind making a new ground connection (preferbly on the trem plate, like the vintage Jazzmasters and Jaguar's) and you have no problem with the smaller witdh of the Tusq saddles, then get these. Or if you don't have a guitar with a 7.25" or 9.5" radius, then the Tusq's are your best option as well.

Ich habe mir eine Squier Jazzmaster zugelegt. Leider hüpften die Saiten an der Brücke immer Raus. Ein Buzzstop kam für mich nicht in Frage, da ich das "Klirren" hinter der Brücke gerne nutze. Ich bestellte mir die Mustang Brücke, aber wurde nicht glücklich damit, da sie nicht exkat zur Halsform passte.

Mit den Graph Tech Reitern bin ich ich super zufrieden. Sie passen perfekt in die alte Jazzmaster Brücke. Die Reiter lassen sich gut einzeln einstellen und die Saiten sitzen absolut sicher. Seitdem ist mir keine Saite mehr rausgesprungen. Anfangs hatten sich einzelne Reiter in der Höhe verstellt. Ich bin kein Profi im Gitarre einstellen, aber habe es damit gelöst die Reiter etwas "steiler" einzustellen - also das die Reiter etwas höher sitzen. Damit verkantet sich die Schraube besser. Seitdem sitzen sie superfest und ich bin absolut zufrieden mit der Lösung.

Gekocht om de brugzadels van mijn Mex Jazzmaster Lacquer te vervangen. Die trillen omlaag, omdat de schroefjes te los zitten. Deze zadels passen, maar hebben precies hetzelfde probleem: te veel speling, dus de G-snaar zakt binnen een paar minuten spelen omlaag totdat hij dood slaat. Ik kan de reviews van 4 en 5 sterren niet begrijpen, misschien is het exemplarisch. Nu op zoek naar een Mustang bridge, wat hopelijk een betere oplossing is.
